Regional Conference @ Aylesbury College

The Eco Advantage Project held its the first of its Regional Conferences on 1st December at Aylesbury College, organised by project partner Cementafuture.

The conference explored the issues of Skills for Climate Change and how unemployed, offenders and disadvantaged groups can gain an Eco Advantage on the labour market, (especially during the current difficult times of economic recession).

The morning conference session introduced the Eco Advantage project, explored how the projects client groups are empowered through Social Incubation, the innovative work of Aylesbury College in developing its UniversityTechnical College and a thought provoking presentation by Tim Fenn of the Green Factory on the importance and opportunities of Green Learning - Opening the door to employability and entreprenuership.

The afternoon was divided in a a rolling programme of presentations by project partners exploring the tools and approaches they have developed.
