Giving our communities an
Eco Advantage
Regional Conference @ Basingstoke
19th January 2012
We all have our part to play in addressing the impact of climate change. But what
skills do communities need to be better prepared and contribute to a better living
environment? This one day conference will explore how getting communities
involved can contribute to sustainable living. It will be an opportunity to hear
about current initiatives in the South East and to exchange ideas and good
practice.
Speakers from the Greening Campaign, the Transition Towns Movement, Global
Action Plan and EcoAdvantage will present their initiatives and share their
experience of engaging communities in sustainable living.
The conference is free to attend and will take place at Carnival Hall in
Basingstoke on Thursday 19 January 2012. The conference will start at 10am and
end at 4pm.
