Bite Sized Learning

Eco Advantage project partners Cementafuture, have developed a range of bite sized learning modules to give low skilled frontline staff or those unemployed a real "Eco Advantage" on the labour market. These courses have been piloted with offenders in prison and prove to be very popular.

Each module is either a half or full day and interactive delivery means that all participants regardless of literacy skills can fully participate.

* A Workplace Eco Audit
* Personal Carbon Footprint
* Green Entrepreneurship
* Renewable Energies

* An Introduction to Slow Tourism
* Sustainable Construction

In simple terms, Social Incubation is a process supporting disadvantaged individuals into society and promoting citizenship is their empowerment within society!

Developed by staff at Cementafuture (UK) and Associacao Humanidades (PT), the concept and methodology of Social Incubation is being mainstreamed through Eco Advantage as a means to support disadvantaged individuals into sustainable employment and active citizenship.

Developed by BCMeurope, the Wheel of Life is a simple means to undertake an initial user needs analysis and then to track the distance travelled by the individual as they progress through a programme. The Eco Advantage Wheel of Life explores an individual's attitudinal skills, life skills, eco awareness, transferable skills and personal growth.

The results of the Wheel of Life tool are presented in a star format and can be compared with other groups of learners.
